Part of our winery is also a distillery. There is an old tradition in the Mosel region of distilling the grape residues so called "Trester" and the vine yeast. Thus we acquired 1995 a distilling licence distillation machinery. Today we distil primarily residues from the vinification. In addition we produce fruit brandies made from core and stone fruits to high-per cent specialities.
